Meveol use for the treatment of Mycobacterium abscessus
Effects of MEVEOL have been evaluated In Vitro on Mycobacterium abscessus (ATCC 19977 T)

Trials in solution containing growth media.
Hypothiocyanite (OSCN)- occurs naturally in many biological fluids and especially in the human respiratory tract. It has been studied for its capabilities as an alternative to antibiotic without any risk of antibiotic resistance.
Lactoferrin (LF) is glycoprotein which is normally widely represented in various secretory fluids, such as milk, saliva, tears and nasal secretions. Lactoferrin, a component of the immune system, has antimicrobial activity (bactericidal, fungicidal). Its ability to manage biofilm by iron sequestration is also on very high interest.
Trials done by Philippe Stordeur, CER, 8 rue du Point du jour B-69000 Marloie.
